Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:
- Plan and maintain work schedules, action items, and program activity trackers aligned to client program priorities.
- Prepare concise, executive-level reports and briefings on program status, accomplishments, risks, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain governance operating materials, including SOPs, business cases, guidance, and decision-support documentation.
- Support operational data management across application, product, organizational, facility, and other reference data domains.
- Review incoming submissions and end-user requests, resolve data issues, and maintain accurate records in current and legacy systems.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that strengthen data quality, reliability, and timeliness.
- Conduct root cause analyses for data and process issues, documenting evidence reviewed, root cause, impact, corrective action, and target completion date.
- Perform current-state and future-state assessments of program operations and recommend improvements that strengthen governance maturity.
- Conduct data services analysis, including data profiling, gap identification, and recommended remediation approaches.
- Draft and maintain data services operations SOPs and manuals covering procedures, roles, responsibilities, workflows, and escalation paths.
- Compile monthly service level agreement (SLA) metric reports covering request volume, resolution times, aging, missed service levels, and trends.
- Coordinate with program leadership and stakeholders to prioritize action items and track deliverables to completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Data/Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience/expertise).
- 5–10 years of experience supporting information governance, data governance, or program operations in a federal or large enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience with operational data stewardship across reference data domains such as application, product, organizational, and facility data.
- Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, business cases, guidance, and decision-support documentation.
- Experience conducting root cause analyses and current-state/future-state operational assessments.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify data and process gaps and recommend improvements to quality, reliability, and timeliness.
- Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports and briefings on status, risks, and recommendations.
- Experience tracking and reporting on SLA and performance metrics, including request volume, resolution time, and aging.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfort working across current and legacy data systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate discussions into clear action items and documentation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams and trackers simultaneously.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or suitability determination; U.S. citizenship may be required.
- Experience with data governance or data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, OneTrust, Atlan, or similar).
- Certified Records Manager (CRM), Information Governance Professional (IGP), or similar credential.
- Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar case/records management systems.
- Experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and AI Builder.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Working knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management fundamentals.
- Experience supporting regulatory, scientific, or other mission-critical federal program operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting and dashboard tools.
- This is a service-focused position in a professional program environment. Team members work mostly remotely, with occasional on-site collaboration alongside other team members and our clients, providing consistent client and team interaction while developing strong client management skills.
